Morgan City Recreation Department youth baseball and softball opening ceremonies set for Saturday morning have been rained out, Youth Recreation Director Seth Thomas said Saturday morning.
The Tri-City area's prep softball, baseball and track and field action scheduled for Thursday has been washed out.
The Patterson High School Lumberjills won their second-straight contest Tuesday with an 11-1 victory against Abbeville in District 8-3A action at Patterson.
