Morgan City High School’s state runner-up finish on the softball diamond was followed by multi players earning recognition on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State team.
For the first time in eight years, Central Catholic High School will have a new softball coach as Linda Sanders has taken over the program, replacing new Berwick softball coach Joe Russo.
Morgan City High School swept the individual honors on the All-District 7-4A softball team.
Central Catholic had four members of its softball team earn first-team All-District 7-1A honors.
