MCHS wins twice at weekend tourney

The top-ranked Morgan City High School Lady Tigers finished 2-0 this weekend at the Tiger-Cardinal Softball Classic in Thibodaux, including a come-from-behind victory against Class 4A’s No. 3-ranked team. Morgan City, Class 4A’s No. 1 ranked team in the latest Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A power rankings, began the day with a 3-1 victory against Belle Chasse before concluding the tournament with a 10-0 run-rule victory against Thibodaux in six innings.
