Morgan City 9s, 11s to begin World Series play Friday

The Morgan City 11-year-old All-Stars and the Morgan City 9-year-old All-Stars will begin play at invitational World Series in Brookhaven, Mississippi, in their respective age groups Friday.

All-stars baseball teams will begin regional play Friday

Four Tri-City Area All-Star baseball teams — two each in the 10-year-old and 12-year-old divisions — will continue postseason play beginning Friday in regional action in north Louisiana.
