Another St. Mary Parish person's death due to COVID-19 was reported by the Louisiana Office of Public Health at noon Monday, bring the total to 12.
The two St. Mary COVID-19 fatalities reported Saturday were a resident at the Legacy nursing fatality in Franklin and another west St. Mary resident, Coroner Eric Melancon said Sunday.
Two more St. Mary deaths appeared in the Office of Public Health daily report at noon Saturday, bringing the number of deaths here to 11.
The number of COVID-19 cases in St. Mary Parish continues to grow more slowly than in recent weeks.
The number of St. Mary deaths from COVID-19 is now at nine, Coroner Eric Melancon said Thursday afternoon.
