The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office has identified the woman who died and the injured person found Sunday night in a Bayou Vista home.
Five members of the 11-member St. Mary Parish School Board have qualified for re-election without opposition, while three other incumbents will face electoral challenges Nov. 8.

The Berwick town government's Facebook page says the boil water order has been lifted.
The order had been in effect since the discovery of a water main break on Watson Street on Monday.
