Patterson drops final pool play game

Two East Side All-Star pitchers combined for a perfect game as the Indiana-based squad defeated the Patterson 12U All-Stars, 1-0, in Babe Ruth World Series play in Jensen Beach, Florida, Wednesday.

Amaya Williams, Patterson’s 12U Babe Ruth All-Stars shortstop, places a tag on a Dare County All-Stars runner as she slides into second. Patterson won the four-inning, warm-up game 8-4 at Pineapple Park in Jensen Beach, Florida. The game is part of the Babe Ruth World Series. Pool play begins Monday. Bracket play begins Thursday and concludes Saturday.

Patterson 12U wins warm-up game, pool play set July 30-Aug. 1

Patterson’s 12U Babe Ruth All-Stars got off to a great start at the Babe Ruth World Series Sunday in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Patterson wins 2 games Tues.; finishes pool play perfect

The Patterson 12U All-Stars finished pool play undefeated Tuesday and earned the No. 3 seed in the 12U Bracket at the Babe Ruth World Series in Jensen Beach, Florida.

The Patterson 12U All-Stars' pool play contest against Ellensburg, Washington, All-Stars was rained out Monday due to Tropical Storm Emily. Plans are for Patterson to play a doubleheader Tuesday, meeting Ellensburg at 12:45 p.m. and Indiana-based East Side All-Stars in a 2 p.m. contest. Tropical Storm Emily rains out Patterson's pool play game Monday

The Patterson 12U All-Stars’ second pool play game at the Babe Ruth World Series in Jensen Beach, Florida, was washed out Monday due to rainfall from Tropical Storm Emily.

The Patterson 12U All-Stars and Bonkid, China's 12U All-Star team gathered for a photo after their contest Saturday. Patterson won the game, 8-1, and defeated Iowa-based Big Bend Lady Bucks, 11-3, in its first pool play contest Sunday. Patterson returned to pool play Monday at 10 a.m. against Ellensburg, Washington, All-Stars, while Tuesday, the team will conclude pool play against Indiana-based Eastside All-Stars.
