Patterson finished pool play undefeated after defeating East Side, 7-3, and Ellensburg, Washington, All-Stars, 10-0, Tuesday. Patterson, which earned the No. 3 seed among 12U teams after pool play, began double-elimination bracket play Wednesday when it faced Bonkid, China, in a 10 a.m. contest. The Patterson 12U All-Stars' pool play contest against Ellensburg, Washington, All-Stars was rained out Monday due to Tropical Storm Emily. Plans are for Patterson to play a doubleheader Tuesday, meeting Ellensburg at 12:45 p.m. and Indiana-based East Side All-Stars in a 2 p.m. contest.
