Tropical Storm Emily rains out Patterson's pool play game Monday

The Patterson 12U All-Stars’ second pool play game at the Babe Ruth World Series in Jensen Beach, Florida, was washed out Monday due to rainfall from Tropical Storm Emily.
Patterson was scheduled to play the Ellensburg, Washington, All-Stars at 10 a.m. Monday. Now, Patterson and Ellensburg will meet Tuesday at 12:45 p.m., while Patterson will play again at 2 p.m. against Indiana-based East Side All-Stars. The East Side-Patterson game originally was scheduled for Tuesday.
Because of the tournament delay due to inclement weather, Tuesday’s action will be limited to an hour and 15 minutes per game. No new inning will begin after the time limit is reached. However, the 15-run run after three innings still applies.
Patterson is 1-0 in pool play after defeating Iowa-based Big Bend Lady Bucks Sunday, 11-3. Ellensburg is 0-1 after falling to East Side, 7-0, Saturday, while East Side is 1-0.
Following pool play, teams will be seeded for bracket play, which will begin Wednesday and continue through the tournament title game Friday evening.
