The Patterson 8U Baseball All-Stars will begin play in the Cal Ripken 8U State Tournament in Luling Thursday night. The Patterson 8-year-old All-Stars dropped two pool play games at the Cal Ripken Invitational World Series Wednesday in Jensen Beach, Florida.

The Patterson 8U All-Stars dropped their first pool play game at the Cal Ripken Invitational World Series 16-0 in five innings to West Raleigh All-Stars in Jensen Beach, Florida, Tuesday. Patterson will play two games Wednesday, meeting the Fern Creek All-Stars and the Fort Caroline Venom. The Patterson 8U All-Stars dropped their first pool play game at the Cal Ripken Invitational World Series Tuesday, falling to West Raleigh All-Stars 16-0 in five innings in Jensen Beach, Florida.
