The Patterson 8U All-Stars finished 0-2 this weekend in bracket play at the Cal Ripken Invitational World Series, falling to the California-based Heartwell All-Stars Friday and the Florida-based Bradford All-Stars Saturday. Patterson, which entered bracket play as the No. 10 seed, fell to No. 7 Heartwell 17-4 in four innings.
