The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars fell to the elimination bracket after falling to Ville Platte at the Louisiana Dixie Youth Minors South Regional in Vidalia Sunday.

The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars and the St. Mary Central 12-year-old All-Stars will begin Louisiana Dixie Youth Regional play in Vidalia and Shreveport, respectively, Friday.

The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars won the District 3 AAA Tournament in Morgan City Sunday. Morgan City finished the tournament with a 3-0 mark. The local squad will continue play at the Louisiana Dixie Youth South Regional in Vidalia, which begins July 13. Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars win district crown

The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Star team won the District 3 championship Sunday, routing St. Mary Central, 16-2, to clinch a spot in the Louisiana Dixie Youth South Regional.
