Morgan City High School will conclude its season Friday in a District 8-4A contest at Vandebilt Catholic in Houma.
The No. 2 Central Catholic Lady Eagles defeated No. 31 South Plaquemines 3-0 (25-2, 25-8, 25-7) in Division V first-round playoff action Wednesday in Morgan City.

Each of the Tri-City Area’s four volleyball teams qualified for the postseason in their respective classes when brackets were released Monday, and each will play their first-round games Wednesday.<
