The Central Catholic Lady Eagles run-ruled Patterson 11-1 in six innings Thursday at Patterson.
The bad news for Central Catholic entering this season was that it lost three senior leaders from a season ago, including leading scorer and all-state performer Ja’len Johnson.
The Morgan City High School tennis teams fell to Assumption Feb. 15.
The Lady Tigers fell 4-3, while the Tigers were defeated 4-0.
Berwick High School’s new head football coach and athletic director may be from the New Orleans area, but he already has had ties at the school for the last few years.
