Patterson High School rising senior Dajon Richard darted into college football recruiting national spotlight this summer when he ran one of the fastest 40-yard dash times in the country.

Six area players earn LSWA Class 3A All-State recognition

Six Tri-City area players earned Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State recognition.
Berwick High School had four selections, while Patterson had two.

Richard's late touchdown lifts Patterson past North Vermilion

Patterson and North Vermilion went blow-for-blow until the fourth quarter when the Lumberjacks scored twice to upend the Patriots 28-21 in the District 8-3A opener for both teams.
