Berwick High School’s boys swim team won the Bayou Leagues District meet, the first time in school history the team has done so.

Berwick will travel to Abbeville Friday

Berwick High School and Abbeville High School each will be looking to break losing streaks when the teams meet in Abbeville Friday in District 8-3A action.

Morgan City High School held its 10th annual Pink Game Monday against Berwick at Morgan City High School. Prior to the game, the two teams gathered for a check presentation to Roots and Ribbons, a local foundation that will distribute the money to help St. Mary Parish cancer patients. Berwick and Patterson to meet in District 8-3A contest

Its Patterson-Berwick week – and all is quite.
Last year Berwick exer-cised its gridiron demons with a 42-35 win over local and district rival Patterson.
