Among the numerous area residents helping in the Operation Beautification held Saturday in Morgan City were siblings Mose (6) and Ruthie (3) Marcrum who worked together to pick up trash in the empty lot behinds McDonald’s. Morgan City Mayor Lee Dragna did his part in the city’s “Love Where You Live’ campaign’s Operation Beautification on Saturday. He joined Boy Scout Troop 49 and Cub Scout Pack 438 of Morgan City in the empty lot behind McDonald’s. The group was just a small sampling of the numerous volunteers that came out to beautify the city.
