Patterson Junior High School’s boys and Morgan City Junior High School’s girls won the team titles at the Lumberjack Relays.
The Morgan City and Patterson High school track and field teams competed at the Foster-Perry Relays at Franklin High School March 9.

Berwick High School's Kenan Jones, congratulated by Louisiana High School Athletic Association Executive Director Eddie Bonine after winning Class 3A Outstanding Athlete honors at the state track and field meet last May, began his final outdoor season with a strong start, setting records in the long jump, triple jump and high jump at E.D. White's Catholic Relays Friday. Jones broke the meet records in all three events, while he also set a new Berwick high jump record at 6 feet, 9.25 inches, breaking Chet Broussard's 1982 mark of 6 feet, 9 inches.
