The Berwick and Morgan City Junior High track and field teams won the boys’ and girls’ team titles at the Morgan City Junior High Tiger Relays last month.
Berwick High School and Highland Baptist won the boys’ and girls’ team titles, respectively, at the John Melvin Relays March 22 at Berwick High School.
The annual John Melvin Relays will be held Friday at Berwick High School.
Field events will begin at 3:30 p.m., and running events are set for a 6:30 p.m. start.
The Berwick High School baseball and track and field teams were recognized for their successful seasons at the St. Mary Parish School Board's meeting June 14.
Morgan City High School qualified one competitor for the state track and field meet during the Region III-4A meet at South Terrebonne High School last week.
