A golf tournament was held at the St. Mary Golf & Country Club honoring Bruce Broussard. Broussard, 89, plays golf at St. Mary Golf & Country Club every Saturday morning. He has been a member at St. Mary since 1954. His handicap is 16.6, and his best score at St. Mary is a 72. He has made three holes-in-one in his lifetime, two at St. Mary on hole's three and five. Broussard said St. Mary Golf & Country Club is the "most fun" of any course he has played because it is "small and compact." He noted you are always passing friends and other golfers while playing the course.
