Berwick 10U girls split four pool play games

Berwick's 10U softball All-Stars fell to Fort Myers American 5-1 Sunday as pool play at the Babe Ruth World Series comes to a close in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Pool play determines seedings for bracket play, which is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Championship day is Wednesday.
In their four pool play games, the Berwick girls:
--Lost to Fort Myers American 5-1 Sunday.
--Beat Wildcats Extreme 6-0 Saturday.
--Lost to Fern Creek Orange 6-0 Saturday.
--Defeated the Brookfield Burn of Connecticut 6-1 Friday.
Berwick reached the World Series by winning the Louisiana and multistate Regional championships.
