Babe Ruth All-Star teams in ages 8U, 10U and 12U from Patterson will begin bracket play Thursday at the Babe Ruth State Tournament in St. Charles Parish Thursday.
The Patterson 10U and 12U Cal Ripken All-Stars won the district championships in their respective age groups this past weekend.
Patterson recognized its Cal Ripken Baseball All-Stars and Babe Ruth Softball All-Stars in a mid-May ceremony.
The Morgan City Recreation Department held baseball closing ceremonies Thursday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
Johnny’s Propeller defeated Dragna Brothers 6-3 on June 6 in Morgan City Recreation Department Dixie League action.
