Lester "Wag" Waguespack is retiring from horseshoe
pitching after 46 years. Waguespack, 87, who
is Louisiana's oldest active member, throws out the
Ogden Thomas shot an even-par 72 May 8 on his
73rd birthday. His nines were 34-38, making three
bogies and three birdies.
