The Morgan City 7-and-8-year-old All-Stars finished 1-2 at the District 3 AA Tournament at the Bayou Vista Community Center this weekend.
The Patterson 8U All-Stars won the Cal Ripken 8-year-old Machine Pitch National state title Sunday at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson, topping St. Charles 4-3.
The Patterson 12U Softball All-Stars won the Babe Ruth State Title Saturday, defeating Jefferson Parish Recreation Department-East 8-4.
The Tri-City area will host the Cal Ripken State Baseball Tournament for ages 6U-8U this weekend along with two district tournaments.
