Tre’mond Sneeze placed first in kindergarten fiction in the Nicholls Reading Council Young Authors Contest while at J.B. Maitland in Morgan City. His entry also placed at state. He received a medal and his entry was published in the Louisiana Reading Association anthology, “Les Jeunes Ecrivains.” He now attends Hattie Watts in Patterson and is with Charles Foulcard, assistant principal.

The Nicholls Reading Council Young Authors Contest for 2019-20 was unable to hold its awards ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions.
