Morgan City police rounded up two people named in warrants for failure to appear, one of whom was named in 15 counts, according to Police Chief James F. Blair.

Another 64 COVID positives were reported for St. Mary, St. Martin and Assumption parishes at midday Friday. No new deaths were reported.
A body found in a bar pit on Charenton Beach Road has been identified as Christopher Olivier, Jr., 25, of New Iberia, St. Mary Sheriff Blaise Smith said Thursday.
