The women’s mystic Krewe of Galatea will hold its tableau at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. Viewing is by invitation only. Queen and King Galatea LIV Mrs.
The Krewe of Galatea Second Line Club recently held its luncheon at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Welcomed as the newest of the club that honors wives of Galatea kings, was Mrs. David Burton, wife of King Galatea LIV. Presenting her with the Second Line Club pin is Mrs. M.D. Shannon III.

Crowds lined the streets as the Krewe of Galatea floats unloaded lots of Mardi Gras beads, toys and more.
Morgan City High School’s marching band was among several local and out-of-town bands that performed.
