Queen Galatea LIII Mrs. Jeff Beattie was welcomed as the newest member of the Galatea Queens’ Club recently during a luncheon at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
The Galatea Second Line Club held a luncheon Feb. 15 to honor its newest member Mrs. Lee Dragna, wife of King Galatea LIII. The club is comprised of wives of Krewe of Galatea kings.
The women’s Krewe of Galatea presented Queen and King Galatea LIII Mrs. George Beattie and Lee Dragna during its tableau held Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
Next up on the Tri-City area Mardi Gras celebrations is the Krewe of Galatea.
