Winston Morgan was crowned 2017 AARP Father’s Day King at the St. Mary Parish AARP Chapter 4435 meeting June 5 at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, home of St. Mary AARP, in Morgan City.

Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout member Hugh Derks Sr. with his daughter, Girl Scout Junior Nina Derks. The Derks are from Madisonville Troop 30176. The two recently took a trip to the Louisiana Art & Science Museum in Baton Rouge.
