Patterson's Singleton, Fabre sign with Southwest Tennessee Community College

Former Patterson baseball standouts Joel Singleton and Jamey Fabre set their sights on baseball scholarships as freshmen.

Patterson now will meet District 8-3A foe and area rival Berwick High in Berwick in a best-two-out-of-three series in the Class 3A regional round beginning Friday with a 6 p.m. contest. Singleton's walk-off hit lifts Patterson past Caldwell Parish

Multiple times this season in District 8-3A action, the Patterson Lumberjacks were on the losing end of heartbreaking walk-off losses.

Patterson High School defeated Franklin High School, 6-0, in District 8-3A action at Patterson Tuesday.
