Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Massabielle 1134, recently completed its annual giving project by donating items for veterans and those in need to Morgan City’s VFW Post 4222. On hand for the donations were VFW Post Commander Cory Williams and wife Stacy, and Post Adjutant Sherman Whiting, along with Court Massabielle members.

Elise Landry, seated, was presented with a certificate for 73 years of service as a member of Court Massabielle 1134 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas during a 90th anniversary banquet. Regent Veronica Governale made the presentation. Also recognized were Betty Smith, 74 years, and Marcelle Ordogne, 70 years.

Perfect attendance recipients were recognized during the Court Massabielle 1134 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas 90th anniversary banquet held Aug. 17 at St. Joseph Hall in Morgan City.
