Court Massabielle celebrates 94 years

This year, Court Massabielle 1134, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, celebrated its 94th anniversary.
Members were recognized for service years and perfect attendance.
Recognized for perfect attendance were Marie Fromenthal, Jovita Compton and Veronica Governale.
Pins and certificates were presented for years of service.
Recognized for service were Clarisse “Bonnie” Glynn, 25 years; Monica Arnie and Marie Tena Grizzaffi, 70 years; Julie Delaune and Jan LaRocca, 45 years; and Patricia Autrey, 40 years.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas, under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, are united by their faith in Jesus Christ and in their church. With the motto of Unity and Charity, they strive to be helping hands where needed.
Court Massabielle meets on the third Wednesday of each month (except July) at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart cafeteria in Morgan City. All Catholic women aged 18 and older are invited to join.
