No. 5 Central Catholic mounted a huge rally in the latter innings and nearly forced extra innings with No. 1-ranked Vermilion Catholic in the Division IV semifinals Saturday at Frasch Park.
Central Catholic scored two runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings of a 4-0 victory against Vermilion Catholic in District 7-1A action in Amelia Wednesday.
