The Patterson 8U All-Stars finished 2-1 this weekend at the Cal Ripken Southwest Region Tournament in Mobile, Alabama, falling in the first-round of bracket play Saturday. Patterson concluded pool play with two wins Friday, defeating Sylvan Hills, Arkansas, 8-5 Friday and Sopher, Oklahoma, 11-3. Because Patterson finished in the top five of its pool, the squad advanced to single-elimination bracket play. However, Patterson fell in its first game to Hamburg, Arkansas, 11-0.
