The Patterson Babe Ruth 12U All-Stars won their first bracket game at the Babe Ruth Southwest Region Tournament with an 11-1 victory against Hamburg, Arkansas, Thursday in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Patterson took a 3-0 lead after an inning, led 5-1 after three complete and extended its lead to 7-1 after the fourth. The game ended after five innings with Patterson ahead 11-1 against Arkansas’ northern state champion. Charlotte Calais and Emily Lipari led Patterson’s offense.
