Morgan City High School will return to its home field Friday after a week away when the Tigers host South Terrebonne in District 7-4A action.
All signs seemed to be pointing toward a Berwick victory in Friday’s game at South Terrebonne.
Berwick High School football Coach Mike Walker said he didn’t like his team’s “approach” on its first road trip of the season to then ninth-ranked Northwest High School.
The Morgan City Tigers won their second-straight District 7-4A contest Saturday with a 14-7 win against South Terrebonne in Morgan City.
The Patterson High School boys basketball team opened its season with an 84-71 win against South Terrebonne Tuesday at home.
Patterson outscored the Gators in three of four quarters.
