Central Catholic swept a District 7-1A doubleheader with Ascension Episcopal Thursday in Youngsville by scores of 16-1 and 20-0.
The Patterson High School Lumberjills swept a District 8-3A doubleheader with Franklin at home Wednesday.
Patterson won by scores of 17-0 and 17-1.
Central Catholic eased past Highland Baptist, 12-3, in District 7-1A softball action in Bayou Vista Tuesday.
Morgan City scored all of its runs in two innings and held South Terrebonne scoreless and to just two hits in 7-0 victory in a key District 7-4A contest in Morgan City Monday.
