Morgan City High School's Kennedy Hebert hit for the cycle in the Lady Tigers' 18-1 run-rule victory against Ellender in Houma Tuesday. Hebert finished 4-for-4 with a single, a double, a triple, a home run and recorded six RBIs and a run. She also earned the win on the mound as she tossed a one-hitter with five strikeouts. CCHS defeats Highland Baptist

Central Catholic eased past Highland Baptist, 12-3, in District 7-1A softball action in Bayou Vista Tuesday. The Lady Eagles plated one run in the first and seven in the second for an 8-0 lead. Each team scored two runs in the fourth and Highland Baptist scored a run in the fifth to cut its deficit to 10-3. Central Catholic scored its final two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Bailee Lipari led Central Catholic with a 2-for-3 performance with two RBIs and a run.
