The Patterson Babe Ruth 12U All-Stars Red team finished the weekend as runner-up at the Babe Ruth Louisiana State Tournament at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.

The Skittles, sponsored by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, finished first in the Morgan City Recreation Department's 6-8 age group. Team members include, front row from left, Caroline Mancuso, Paisley Barbier, Olivia Breaux and Julianna Alfred. On the middle row, are Emma Mancuso, Ella Fryou, Jolie Baker and Jordin Jackson. The Louisiana Babe Ruth State Softball Tournament will be held at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson beginning Wednesday and continuing through Saturday. Double-elimination tournaments will be held for ages 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U.
