The Patterson 12-year-old softball All-Stars fell to the elimination bracket of the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional in Houma Thursday after falling to Jefferson Parish Recreation Department East, 5-1,

Patterson 12U Red All-Stars finish as state runner-up

The Patterson Babe Ruth 12U All-Stars Red team finished the weekend as runner-up at the Babe Ruth Louisiana State Tournament at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.

The Skittles, sponsored by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, finished first in the Morgan City Recreation Department's 6-8 age group. Team members include, front row from left, Caroline Mancuso, Paisley Barbier, Olivia Breaux and Julianna Alfred. On the middle row, are Emma Mancuso, Ella Fryou, Jolie Baker and Jordin Jackson. On the back row are coaches Andrew Mancuso, Daniel Fryou and Vanessa Jackson.
