While Patterson responded with three runs in the fourth for a 7-6 advantage, H.L. Bourgeois retook the lead at 8-6 in the top of the fifth.
Patterson tied the game at 8 in the sixth, and H.L. Bourgeois scored the game-winning runs in the top of the seventh.
