CCHS defeats Riverside 2-1 in 10 innings

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles defeated Riverside 2-1 on the road Monday in 10 innings. Haley Fontenot drove in the game-winning run on an infield single in the top of the 10th. Hallie Crappell earned the win. In 10 innings, she surrendered one earned run on seven hits with seven walks and 12 strikeouts. Central Catholic top offensive contributors were as follows: Emily Lipari and Amaya Williams, each 2-for-4; Caitlyn Picou, 2-for-5; Haley Fontenot, 1-for-2, an RBI; and Hannah Domingue, 1-for-4, an RBI.
