There will be 13 area young women vying for the crown of Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen when the festival holds its annual coronation at 7:30 p.m.
Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Children’s Day 2017 King Gabrial Nelson and Queen Emma Rose Schaff will select their successors in a random drawing Aug.
Area children are invited to participate in the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival’s Children’s Day King and Queen Event being held at the Spray Park in Bayou Vista on Aug. 12.
Friday, May 25, is the deadline for application submissions for anyone wishing to be considered as the next Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen.
