A 21-year-old Morgan City woman was caught Tuesday after she ran from narcotics detectives in Berwick and consumed drugs while running, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.

A 51-year-old Gibson man was caught with methamphetamine and a syringe after narcotics detectives stopped a vehicle in Bayou Vista, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
