Terrorizing charge among local arrests

Retired Chief Moe Price from the Morgan City Fire Department spoke with Cub Scout Pack 438 about the importance of fire safety. They learned how to call for help, created escape plans with their parents, and learned the importance of smoke detectors and ways to put out different types of fires. They also learned about community helpers. They were able to complete their requirements for their rank advancements. Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 49 and Cub Scout Pack 438 from Morgan City celebrated Scout Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Toto Buenaflor and Deacon Larry Callais officiating at the Mass. Scouts have a duty to God that involves different activities learning about their religion, followed by participating in a service reflecting their faith.
