Morgan City PD will host drug take-back

The Morgan City Police Department and Walgreen Drugs will again partner to make the community safer. The Morgan City Police Department has been working with the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration in their National Drug Take-Back Initiative and Walgreens for the last eight years.
The next drug take-back will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 24. The Police Department will have representatives at Walgreen located at 815 Brashear Ave. in Morgan City. The public is requested to remove any personally identifying information and secure all liquid medication in a leak-proof container. No intravenous solutions, injectables or syringes will be accepted during the collection due to potential hazards posed by blood-borne pathogens.
