Morgan City High School recorded a 2-2 mark in Assumption’s tournament, splitting its Thursday games and winning one and losing two Saturday.

Berwick High School is known for its prolific offense, but Friday night, its defense stole the show in a 34-13 victory against Morgan City High School at Tiger Stadium.

Morgan City and Berwick are bracing for another slugfest Friday night.

The Morgan City High School volleyball team will feature more height during 2017. The team looks to build off last year's first-round loss in the Division III postseason to Lusher Charter.
