The Morgan City Tigers’ late rally against Vandebilt Catholic fell short as the Tigers were defeated, 7-5, in District 7-4A action in Morgan City Wednesday.

MCHS' Makye Richard, Tywaun Walker earn Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State honors

Two members of the Morgan City High School boys’ basketball team were recognized with honorable mention honors on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State teams.

The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team fell just short of a state championship Friday at the Raisin Cane's River Center as the squad fell to St. Scholastica, 14-13, in the state finals. This year marks the second straight season Morgan City has finished as state runner-up. Team members include, kneeling from left, Kameron Patereau, Meghan Amador, Ali Tregle and Kyleigh Campbell.
