St. Mary Parish AARP Chapter 4435 held its monthly meeting on Feb. 4 at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, home of St. Mary AARP, in Morgan City.
Patterson Garden Club held its monthly meeting Jan. 15. The next meeting will be Feb. 19. A plant exchange will be held.

Patterson Garden Club celebrated Christmas during its Dec. 15 meeting. Members brought gifts to donate to the Marine Corp League, St. Mary Detachment’s Toys for Tots campaign.
Sandra Watson was the speaker at the local Parkinson Support Group meeting Dec. 4 at the Bayou Vista Branch Library. She gave caregiver tips and gave tips on creating a personal medical folder.
