Central Catholic High School dropped its first District 7-1A contest of the season Tuesday as the Lady Eagles fell 56-24 to Division IV’s top-ranked squad, Lafayette Christian, in Morgan City.
Three Tri-City area high school football players — one from Berwick and two from Central Catholic — were named to the Louisiana Football Coaches Association All-State Football second teams in their
Patterson and Berwick played another close game in their second round of District 8-3A action with Patterson coming out with a victory, this time in overtime.
Berwick High School defeated Patterson High School 48-23 in District 8-3A girls’ varsity action Friday at Patterson.
The Tri-City Area’s Prep bowling season began this week with teams from Berwick, Central Catholic and Morgan City competing.
