Central Catholic High School dropped its first District 7-1A contest of the season Tuesday as the Lady Eagles fell 56-24 to Division IV’s top-ranked squad, Lafayette Christian, in Morgan City. No individual statistics were available for Central Catholic, ranked seventh in the latest Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division IV power rankings. Central Catholic (11-13 overall, 2-1 in district) will return to action Friday when it travels to face Highland Baptist in league play.
